who

After graduating from the University of Miami, Peter Kerekes moved to Los Angeles, decided to abandon any sensible career pursuit for music, studied post production and audio engineering at UCLA, and landed his first pro gig as sound designer for Adrenalin Interactive, a video game developer in Los Angeles. He soon became their composer and audio director as well, and began his intense training in Accelerated Modified Freestyle Wing-Chun Kung Fu.

After Adrenalin, Peter freelanced for music houses such as HUM, Groove Addicts, Howling Music, The Lodge, Karma, Decibel Architects, Propeller, Music for Picture, Face the Music and Pfeifer Music, and joined forces with a partner to form Beat Revolution. The creative duo created the music and/or effects for numerous video games, music for commercials such as Subaru, Delta, and SBC/Yahoo, corporate clients, music libraries and animation.

Peter’s music can be found on and he continues to write tracks for spots and television shows around the world. As producer and co-writer, his ongoing personal labor of love is the Los Angeles electronic-rock band, Public Jones–heard on KCRW and winners of the 2010 Hollywood Music in Media Awards . Recently, their music can be heard on the 2015 theatrical release, The Funhouse Massacre.
Next: a foray into the world of remixing.
